Design Hall’s standard design packages include:

  • Preliminary floor plan design in 2D
  • Basic exterior 3D modelling
  • Final architectural blueprints in PDF format
  • Exterior colour suggestions

With the base package, you’ll have the architectural information needed to start the process of pricing, applying for building permits, and construction. Electrical plans are available for an additional service fee – contact us for details.

The timeline to complete your custom blueprint depends on various factors such as the type of project, its complexity, the number of options we explore, and how long you need to make decisions. These factors can significantly influence the time required to complete the project.

  • On average, for a typical new home build or extensive renovation, our full process takes around 3-5 months to complete.
  • For smaller or less complex projects, on average, the full process takes around 1-2 months to complete.

Blueprints are a valuable tool, often necessary to obtain permits for your project. You will need blueprints when you:

  • Plan on constructing a new permanent structure, like a home, garage, or shop.
  • Are renovating to increase your total living area. Examples include developing your basement or adding an addition.
  • Are not adding more living area, but you are extensively moving walls– or completely gutting your floor plan!
